I recently helped a senior with a task that had been nagging at her for over a year – to clean out the place where she filed her papers. She essentially just "stuffed" them in a shelf, trying to put "like things" together. After a year, the area was overcrowded and daunting. We spent about 3 hours together and went through every piece of paper – I did the sorting, she did the deciding what to keep and where she wanted it. Done! She now has a neat, tidy filing system which works for her.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the kudos. Setting up a website service involves a long, challenging process. How can one be most helpful and relevant to the many visitors who visit the site? I really try to find inspiring and useful information to share around decluttering and organizing one's life and possessions. How to define "enough" is a very neglected process for many of us. LIghtening our load for our life journey is a skill we can acquire (as well as the discipline to regularly apply this "winnowing" process).
Cheers,
Elaine
